8-26 Bice 60th Anniversary

— Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bice of Palestine were honored with an anniversary party Saturday at Westwood United Methodist Church celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. Hostesses for the occasion were their daughter, Mary Dunklin, their granddaughter, Michelle Peppler and their granddaughter-in-law, Amanda Dunklin. Mr. Bice married the former Elsie Elrod on Aug. 24, 1947 in Palestine. She is retired from Bice Grocery. He is retired after 44 years of owner and operator of Bice Grocery. He also served in the U.S. Army in 1945-1947.
