Christmas parade winner

The Anderson County Sheriff’s Department float travels up Crawford Street during the City of Palestine’s annual Christmas Parade Saturday night in downtown Palestine. The float was deemed the first-place float winner, with the Palestine Roary Club and the Westwood FFA winning second- and third-place floats, respectively. The Palestine High School band was the winner of the band category, and Cars of Palestine and the Westside Volunteer Fire Department won first- and second-place, respectively, in the automotive category. The theme of the parade was “The Music and Magic of Christmas.”
