Cows and horses getting shade

Some of Anderson County’s bovine and equine residents beat the end-of-summer heat as best they can, by hanging out under the few trees left in their pasture, on Monday. The local forecast calls for high temperatures in the triple digits this week — with the highest expected temperature of 103 on Friday. County officials also remind residents that Anderson County continues to be under a burn ban.
