• Bryan and Kenda Schattel of Palestine announce the birth of a daughter, Ava Nicole, on Jan. 23 at Baylor Medical Hospital in Dallas. Grandparents are Larry and Martha Schattel and Lee and Cyndi Perdue, all of Palestine.
