• Kenneth Nguyen and Tyrhonda Williams, both of Palestine, announce the birth of a daughter, Maliayh Renae, on July 17. Grandparents are Russell and Joyce Williams of Palestine.

• Ronnie and Trisha Howell of Palestine announce the birth of a daughter,Jaylyn Beth, on Sept. 15. Grandparents are Billy and Linda Bailey of Lufkin and David and Alana Hogg of Granbury.

• Justin and Jeanie Pitts of Elkhart announce the birth of a son, Jayce Walyn, on Sept. 10. Grandparents are Mike Pitts of Palestine, Joyce Pitts of Elkhart, Sue Davis of Slocum and the late Grant Davis.
