A Palestine woman died from injuries she sustained at the scene when she was struck by a vehicle Monday afternoon on U.S. 287/Texas 19 South, about a half mile from the Palestine city limits.
The Anderson County Sheriff's Office has released the identities of a female victim and a male subject involved in what appears to be a murder-attempted suicide that occurred in Elkhart Wednesday morning.
Law enforcement officials in Anderson County are currently investigating a possible homicide in Elkhart.
