The following items were selected from reports provided by the Palestine Police Department:
Monday, June 29
• 12 a.m. — Harassment, 900 block E. Brazos St., complainant said he received several harassing phone calls from an unknown subject.
Tuesday, June 30
• 12 p.m. — Graffiti (less than $500), 700 block W. Lacy St., business reported graffiti.
• 2:20 p.m. — Theft between $50 and $500, 2200 block S. Loop 256, store reported a theft of merchandise.
• 2:32 p.m. — Theft between $50 and $500, 100 block Trinity Ct., complainant reported that drugs were missing from the inventory.
• 3:26 p.m. — Graffiti (less than $500) 300 block E. Spring St., graffiti found on the east wall of a store.
• 4:50 p.m. — Theft between $50 and $500, duty on striking unattended vehicle, 300 block E. Spring St., unknown white male stole seven cases of beer from store and struck a gray van while leaving the parking lot.
• 6 p.m. — Theft between $50 and $500, 700 block Crestline Dr., complainant said someone stole his 8-foot aluminum ladder.
• 7:42 p.m. — Possession of marijuana under 2 oz., municipal court warrant service, possession of marijuana under 2 oz., 200 block Sheridan Dr., officer arrested two men for possession of marijuana under 2 ounces. One was also arrested for outstanding warrants from Palestine Municipal Court.
• 9:15 p.m. — Burglary of a vehicle, 300 block E. Spring St., unknown black male removed several items from a car.
Wednesday, July 1
• 12 a.m. — Theft between $50 and $500, 2000 block Crockett Rd., complainant reported an employee theft of narcotic medication and money.
• 12:22 a.m. — Duty on striking a fixture/highway landscape valued greater than $200, 6000 block N. Loop 256, unknown subject left the roadway with his or her vehicle and struck two mail boxes before dumping his toolbox all over the roadway. The subject then left the scene of the accident without leaving his or her information.
• 1:25 a.m. — Possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram, public intoxication, no address given, one man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram and another was arrested for public intoxication.
• 2:06 a.m. — Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, 1400 block E. Park Ave., suspect struck complainant with his vehicle while attempting to leave the residence.
• 3:55 a.m. — Burglary of a habitation, 600 block Brookhollow Dr., unknown person(s) gained entry and stole several items from a residence.
• 3:55 a.m. — Assault causing bodily injury (family violence), 300 block Dorrance St., complainant reported an assault.
• 5:30 a.m. — Assault causing bodily injury (family violence), 4000 block W. Oak St., complainant reported that she was assaulted by her husband.
• 7 a.m. — Assault causing bodily injury, 1700 block W. Palestine Ave., unknown offender(s) assaulted the victim in the area of 1700 block of W. Palestine Ave.
• 9:30 a.m. — Burglary of a habitation, 2100 block W. Point Tap Rd., complainant reported the burglary of her neighbor’s residence.
• 10:24 p.m. — Driving while license invalid with previous conviction, 2200 block Crockett Rd., man was arrested for driving while his license was invalid, with previous conviction.
Thursday, July 2
• 12:58 a.m. — Public intoxication, misdemeanor warrant service, 3000 block W. Oak St., subject arrested for public intoxication.
