Police beat for Oct. 10

The following items were selected from reports provided by the Palestine Police Department:

Oct. 10

• 11:13 p.m. — Assault, West Point Tap Road. Subject reported that her mother had assaulted her and after officer’s arrival, victim claimed to be suicidal. Victim was taken to PRMC East Campus ER on an emergency committal.

Oct. 11

• 1:33 a.m. — Use of sidewalk, 800 block of W. Kolstad St. Subject was arrested for traffic offense.

• 11:34 p.m. — Burglary of a habitation, 1000 block of E. Palestine Ave. Subject entered residence and took an Xbox 360 with two games.

Oct. 12

• 2:37 a.m. — Burglary of a vehicle, 300 block of Green St. Unknown subject hurled a brick through the driver’s side window of a Ford Mustang and took an IPod and wallet.

• 3 a.m. — Burglary of a vehicle, 700 block of N. Jackson St. Complainant reported that someone had broken into his vehicle and took his CD player.

• 7:54 a.m. — Burglary of a vehicle, 800 Howard St. Complainant reported the burglary of his vehicle.

• 10:20 a.m. — Burglary of a vehicle, 700 block of N. Jackson St. Complainant reported that his vehicle was broken into and his radio was stolen.

• 12:10 p.m. — Burglary of a vehicle, 900 block of N. Jackson St. Complainant reported that her vehicle was broken into at 912 North Jackson.

• 2:45 p.m. — Graffiti, 1300 block of W. Lacy St. Subjects were arrested for graffiti and attempted assault causing bodily injury.

• 5 p.m. — Assault, 900 block of W. Lacy St. Complainant reported suspect assaulted her and kept her at location against her will.

Oct. 13

• Midnight — Assault, 700 block of Carolina St. Victim was assaulted by boyfriend.

• 7:23 a.m. — Criminal mischief, 2200 W. Reagan St. Complainant reported that an unknown person ran over the plants in front of Cartmell Home.

• Midnight — Theft, 300 block of E. Spring St. The subject was arrested for theft of property.

• Midnight — Criminal mischief, 1500 block of Esplanade St. The complainant said an unknown suspect slashed the tire on her boyfriend’s vehicle.

• Midnight — Burglary of a vehicle/credit card abuse, 400 block of E. Palestine Ave. Complainant reported a burglary of a vehicle and credit/debit card abuse.

• 8:25 p.m. — Aggravated robbery, 400 block of E. Palestine Ave. Complainant reported an aggravated robbery at Kim’s No. 4.

Oct. 14

• Midnight — Credit card abuse, 2200 block of S. Loop 256. The complainant said an unknown suspect stole his pin number to his credit card and made several purchases.
