C Co. 2nd Battalion 149th General Support Aviation Battalion held a ceremony to name their MEDEVAC Compound after fallen SPC Heath Pickard, C Co. 1st Battalion 5th Infantry Regiment Automatic Rifleman, who died serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom. The Pickard MEDEVAC Compound Naming Ceremony was held on Joint Base Balad, Iraq on April 20.
