Memorial cross installed

Staff Reports
The Palestine Herald

A custom-made wrought iron cross was installed Wednesday on St. Philip's Episcopal Church’s Parish Hall to the glory of God and in memory of Debra Royall and Ted Maffitt.

The cross was created by Reid Fleming Design in Cedar Park. It was designed to be in keeping with the other crosses already installed on the church.

The IHS monogram, that is central to the design of the cross, is an abbreviation of Jesus' name in Greek, which is “IESOUS.”

The other crosses were also donated years ago in honor of Tucker K. Royall.

For more photos taken by the church, visit the photo gallery on St. Philip’s Web site at http://www.stphilipepiscopalchurch.org/gallery.php.
