Always two sides to every story

Obama’s speech to our schools is not an historic event. The mode of communication may be different but Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H. Bush both spoke to school systems via CSPAN and other educational televised avenues in 1988 and 1991. Whether we allow our kids to hear this speech or not we should remember that even though they are young, they also have abilities to make decisions for themselves. What a great time to open a conversation with them after the family comes home. Check out: http://gothamschools.org/2009/09/04/from-the-archives-ronald-reagans-1988-speech-to-students/ AND http://www.dailykostv.com/w/002099/  We as parents should also watch to be sure we understand what the man has to say. There are always two sides to each story. I’m telling mine.
