Mackenzie Diane Frazier of Palestine and Ricky Gene Luff of Elkhart were married May 16 at the Civic Center in Palestine.
The Rev. Randall Reeves of Palestine read vows under hanging white lights. Columns were used to hold ferns and a platform with a variety of flowers in chocolate and turquoise. The unity candle was decorated with white tulle and ribbon in the bride’s colors.
Parents of the bride are Curtis and Debra Frazier of Palestine and parents of the groom are Teresa and the late George Warner of Elkhart and Richard Luff of Mansfield. Grandmother of the bride is Beth Frazier of Palestine and grandmothers of the groom are Lolaita Bushman of Granbury and Betty Madden of Irving.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a Mori Lee gown. It was a sculptured strapless, A-line gown of Point D’Espirit net with appliquéd Alencon lace. Scalloped empire and wide border surrounding the hemline and chapel length train. She also wore a two tier circular veil with silver bugle bead edge and crystal and rhinestone accents to match her dress. To finish the look she wore a rhinestone tiara.
The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of chocolate roses accented with turquoise flowers and ribbon.
Attending the bride were maid of honor Heather Wilbanks of Palestine.
Bridesmaids were Norma Jaramiello, Nicole Penn and Leslie McCann all of Palestine.
Attendants wore short halter style turquoise dresses with matching necklace and earrings, gifts from the bride.
They carried hand-tied bouquets of chocolate stargazer lilies wrapped in turquoise with brown ribbon.
Flower girl was Breanna Warner of Elkhart, sister of the groom.
Ring bearer was AJ Frazier, nephew of the bride, of Palestine.
Best man was Kurtis Luff of Seagoville, brother of the groom.
Groomsmen were Richard Luff, father of the groom, of Mansfield; Marcus Helm of Palestine and Dustin Frazier, brother of the bride, of Palestine.
Providing music was Adam Graham of Onalaska.
A reception hosted by the bride’s parents was held in the multi-purpose room of the Civic Center. House party members were Tina Faulks, aunt of the groom, of Elkhart, Christy Cortez of Palestine and Hilarie Wacha of Cleburne.
The couple will take a wedding trip in August to Port Aransas. They will reside in Palestine.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Westwood High School and is a housewife and full-time mom to their son Hayden Michael.
The groom is a 2007 graduate of Elkhart High School and is employed by Eagle Railcar in Elkhart.
