Pal-Keeton wedding

Melanie Eve Pal and Jeremy Kenneth Keeton, both of Maseru, Africa, were married June 6 in Negril, Jamaica.

Dr. Michael Tkacik of Nacogdoches officiated at the wedding.

Mother of the bride is Hedy Pal of Freehold, N.J. Parents of the groom are Andy and Barbara Keeton of Elkhart. Grandparents are Heinz and Ursula Broome of Elkhart.

Escorted by her mother, the bride wore a white gown with a beaded bodice. She carried a bouquet of anthuriums, yellow roses and red ginger.

Maid of honor was Melanie Pal of New York City, sister of the bride.

Best man was Russell Boyd of Austin.

A reception was held at Negril Escape Resort.

Following an extended honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple will reside in Maseru, Africa.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of George Washington University and is employed at Habitat for Humanity.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University and is employed at Partners in Health.
