Darsey-McCullough wedding

— Caroline Elizabeth Darsey and Aaron Andrew McCullough were married Aug. 24 at the Creek Club at I'On in Charleston, S.C. The Rev. Ron Dillon officiated the outdoor ceremony.  A reception followed by dinner and dancing was hosted at the Creek Club by the parents of the bride.  

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Ryan Darsey of Charlotte, N.C. and Grapeland. She is the granddaughter of Elizabeth Jane Cain of Elkhart and the late Alton Wayne Grant and Fay Clark of Grants Pass, Ore. and the late Murdoch E. Darsey.  

The Bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.  

Maid of honor was Courtney Darsey, sister of the bride, of Houston. Also attending were bridesmaids Madeline Darsey, sister-in-law of the bride; Lavinia Hurley and Megan Pritchard, both friends of the bride.  

Owen McCullough, brother of the groom served as best man. Groomsmen were Thomas Andrews, Seth Stanton and CJ Stephenson.

Reading scripture at the ceremony was Lt. Jake Darsey, brother of the bride, of Belton.

A rehearsal dinner for the couple was hosted by the groom’s family on Aug. 23 at the Citadel Club, Isle of Palms, S.C.

The newlyweds honeymooned in the Dominican Republic and reside in Columbia, S.C.

The bride earned a B. S. degree in Accounting from Texas A&M University and received her International Master of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina, graduating magna cum laude. She is employed as a manager with Computer Sciences Corporation in Blythewood, S.C.  

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Richard McCullough of Mitchell, S.D. and the grandson of  Mary Anna Fowler of Wheatland, Wyo. and the late Willard Andrew Baker and the late Calvin Ward McCullough and the late Lorraine May McCullough of Kulm, N.D. Aaron earned his B.S. degree from Houghton College in Houghton, N.Y. and received his International Master of Business Administration degree from the University of South Carolina, graduating magna cum laude. He is employed by RLG International of Vancouver, Canada.
