Lake-Wolfe wedding

At twilight on May 19, Breezy Louise Lake and David Allen Wolfe were united in marriage at the bride’s family home in Arp.

The ceremony, officiated by the Rev. Rhett Ansley, was conducted below a towering magnolia resplendent with an antique chandelier, vintage fabrics and beveled mirrors. The couple spoke their vows flanked by antique candelabras and seasonal greenery.

Guests had been asked to save the date for a Garden style wedding via cotton kitchen towels mailed as reminders. The graphics featured a slice of cherry pie, which provided guests with a hint of the wedding theme of an East Texas Love Feast.

As guests arrived, they were served chilled beverages and were seated beneath the branches of the towering magnolia and flickering lights.  Informal seating was provided on antique chairs and settees,  quilt-draped bales of East Texas hay and wingback chairs accentuated by lamps, antique washbowls, vintage pitchers and Tyler Roses.

Processional music was provided by the Lon Morris College Speakeasy 6 Band with the family arriving parade style to Dixieland jazz, attired in garden attire and hats, carrying parasols and sparklers.
