Oakwood ISD to swear in new board member

New board member Chris Agapiou will be sworn into office during Monday’s meeting of the Oakwood Independent School District’s Board of Trustees.

The meeting is set to begin at 6 p.m. in the district’s administrative boardroom at 631 N. Holly St. in Oakwood.

In other business Monday, the board is expected to discuss moving from an eight-period to a seven-period day at the secondary level.
