Oakwood ISD to swear in new board member

— New board member Chris Agapiou will be sworn into office during Monday’s meeting of the Oakwood Independent School District’s Board of Trustees.
The meeting is set to begin at 6 p.m. in the district’s administrative boardroom at 631 N. Holly St. in Oakwood.
In other business Monday, the board is expected to discuss moving from an eight-period to a seven-period day at the secondary level.
