Holiday closings announced

The Palestine Herald

City of Palestine and Anderson County offices will be closed Friday to observe the Fourth of July holiday.

City garbage service will be unaffected.

The city compost site on U.S. 287/Texas 19 N. will be closed on Saturday.

The Herald-Press office will close at noon Friday and will be closed Monday for the Fourth of July. The Sunday edition will be delivered as usual.

The office will open for regular hours at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
