Volunteers needed for ‘Thomas’

The Texas State Railroad is looking for volunteers during its Day Out With Thomas™ event, scheduled at the Rusk Depot on Oct. 17-19 and 24-26.
Volunteers are needed for the Imagination Station, gold dig, bounce houses, temporary tattoos, photo line, retail, bubble station, Sir Topham Hatt, hayride, information booth and more.
Temporary employees also are being hired to work during the 6-day event; and volunteer balloon animal artists are needed as well.
Those who are interested are asked to attend one of two volunteer orientation events taking place at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Texas State Railroad Rusk Depot Theatre and at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Palestine Public Library.
