(Continued)

PALESTINE —

“If, after you’ve looked at your report and there is account on your report that you didn’t authorize, you should do a ‘credit freeze’ that keeps anyone from accessing your credit history without prior approval,” Lowe instructed. “Then call law enforcement and our office at 903-723-7400.”

Texas residents are allowed one free credit report per year. Visit www.annualcreditreport.com or call (877) 322-8228 for more information.

If Jones is found guilty of the crime, her possible punishment is increased to a second degree felony because of prior criminal convictions. The indictment alleges an extensive criminal history including cases from Dallas County for felony theft, robbery and possession of a controlled substance.

Third District Judge Mark Calhoon has set a bond of $250,000. Jones is currently incarcerated in the Dallas County Jail.
