Our Town: Museum for East Texas Culture's calendars on sale now

PALESTINE —

As 2013 fades away as 2014 nears, the Museum for East Texas Culture is selling its 2014 Museum Calendar. This year's theme is “Schools of Our Past” with pictures and a brief history of schools in Palestine and Anderson County.

“The calendar is one of the museum's main fund-raisers for the year,” Museum Director Dan Dyer said.

Calendars are $10 each and available at the museum, located at 400 S. Micheaux Ave. behind Reagan Park.
