PALESTINE —

City of Palestine Marketing/Visitors Center Manager Breezy Lake-Wolfe will discuss the new mobile app “Visit Palestine TX” during the Palestine Area Chamber of Commerce's quarterly business luncheon.

The luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Ben E. Keith Community Room, located at 2019 W. Oak St.

“We are excited to have Breezy speaking at the next luncheon,” Chamber Executive Director Marc Mitchell said. “Her presentations are always high energy and entertaining. And this new

mobile app is putting attractions, events and more at the fingertips of both visitors and locals.

Whether you’re a longtime resident or visiting the area, this app puts what’s happening in Palestine just

a touch away.”

The app is available for Android, iPhone and iPad users.

“Mobile apps have become the go-to place for users to find what they are looking for,” Mitchell said. “This is a great resource for both visitors and locals to instantly search where to eat, stay and play in

Palestine. The mobile app also serves as a valuable tool for employees working in our local service

industry.”

Through the app, users can explore restaurants, lodging, shops, attractions, as well as an extensive

events section that provides up-to-date happenings throughout the community. The app will

continuously be updated with information and special features.

Cost to attend the seminar is $10 per person and includes lunch. RSVP to 903-729-6066 or
