PALESTINE — Senior center hosting Fourth of July celebration

The Palestine Senior Center staff would like to invite all past attendees and any new ones to attend its Fourth of July celebration on Thursday.

A barbecue brisket lunch will be served, complete with ranch-style beans, potato salad, watermelon, garlic bread and cake.

Attendees are encouraged to come early bring cards or any other table games and stay after lunch to play, or play before lunch.

Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to noon. Entertainment will be by “Blood Kin.” Door prizes will be given out during the event.

The center, located at 200 N. Church St., will be open on the Fourth of July and closed on Friday, July 5 in observance of the holiday.

Please call 903-729-0255 to make your lunch reservation by Tuesday. Lunch donation is $3. All are welcome.
