Cornerstone Worship Center to honor ministers' wives during conference

PALESTINE — Cornerstone Worship Center will be honoring area pastor’s wives and others during their annual Ladies Conference luncheon on Saturday.

The all-day conference event, “Inspired” will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Cornerstone Worship Center’s new location, 1100 Salt Works Rd.

“During our noon luncheon, we will be honoring our minister’s wives of surrounding areas, associate pastor’s wives, youth and children’s minister’s wives, evangelist’s wives and retired minister’s wives,” Cornerstone Worship Center co-pastor Amanda Malone said.

Lunch will be free for these ladies.

“All other women are welcome to stay and eat and enjoy the message and festivities,” Malone said.

Cost of the lunch will be $6 a person.

The conference will kick off at 10 a.m. with a message by Malone. At noon, Palestine New Life Worship Center’s pastor’s wife Cheryl Pool will speak.

Cornerstone’s Ladies Director Becky Comstock will speak at 2:30 p.m.

A meet-and-greet is planned at 5 p.m.

At 6 p.m., Rhona Harrison from Tyler Metro Church will speak.

“Rhona is greatly used in the gift of prophecy,” Malone said.

Malone encouraged all women in the community to attend the conference.

“Please come and allow God to minister to you in a mighty way!” Malone said.
