PALESTINE — Palestine Police Department officers are seeking suspects in the overnight burglary of a local business Wednesday during which an unknown amount of money was taken.

According to reports, the burglary took place at about 3:49 a.m. Wednesday, when unknown subjects forced entry into the Pic and Go convenience store located in the 1000 block of West Palestine Avenue.

“Actors made entry into the rear of the store,” PPD Sgt. James Muniz said. “Once inside, (suspects) were able to force open the ATM and remove an unknown amount of money.”

Police are still reviewing the store’s video in an attempt to help identify and locate the offenders, Muniz said.

Anyone who has any knowledge or information concerning this crime are urged to call the Palestine Police Department at 903-729-2254 or Crime Stoppers at 903-729-TIPS (8477). Tippers do not have to give their name, just their information.
