    Palestine quarterback Olin Terry was nearly speechless.
    The Wildcat senior could not find the words after Palestine defeated Westwood 49-7 Friday night at Wildcat Stadium, clinching a playoff spot for the first time since Terry has been on the varsity team.

  • Frankston tops Elkhart 26-6
    ELKHART — The Frankston Indians ended the season with win, topping Elkhart 26-6 Friday night at Elk Stadium.

  • Cayuga volleyball to play Saturday

    The Cayuga volleyball team starts the playoffs Saturday.
    Cayuga, who had a first-round bye, will play Bosquieville at 3 p.m. Saturday at West High School.

    For five years, the game between Palestine and Westwood have been for bragging rights around the city.
    The state are much higher this time around.

    JEWETT — The Palestine Ladycats had their season come to an end Tuesday night.
    Palestine lost to Lorena in three games — 25-17, 25-13, 25-14 — in the Class 3A-Region III bi-district playoff match at Leon High School.
