FRANKSTON — For the Indians, this game could make or break the rest of their season.
Frankston will take on Alto on Friday night in a battle of teams searching for answers.
For Frankston, it has played well all season, losing heartbreaker after heartbreaker. The Indians are coming off a 12-7 loss to Mildred last week and are still searching for their first win of the season.
Last year when Frankston and Alto met, the Yellowjackets came away with a 15-7 win. This season, the Indians will have to win their first match on the road at Yellowjacket Stadium to keep from losing four straight.
OAKWOOD — The Panthers are also looking for their first win of the season.
After a grueling 88-37 loss to Milford, the Panters are trying to achieve redemption. On Friday night, Oakwood will have a chance at that redemption as it takes on Trinidad.
Last season, Oakwood won the matchup with Trinidad, 72-26. If the Panthers can duplicate those numbers, they should be able to cruise to their first win of the season.
CAYUGA — The Wildcats are still a red-hot team. Nobody has been able to stop them and nobody might.
With running backs Keshawn Jackson and John Venable running the show with help from their lineman, the Wildcats are looking to go 4-0 also.
The defense of Cayuga has been great, too. The Wildcats held Wortham to eight points in their first road game of the season.
Cayuga is looking to keep that road momentum alive as it takes on Overton this Friday night at Mustang stadium.
Last season, Cayuga handled Overton easily in a 49-6 victory.
This year, Cayuga has been on pace to repeat that performance, or even better it.
