After leading his team to a 13-1 district record and a share of the 18-2A title, Frankston senior Corey Warren was named the league’s co-Most Valuable Player on the all-district teams announced this week.
The senior guard, who averaged 17.5 points, seven rebounds and five assists per game, shared the award with Troup’s Richard Lacy.
Along with their best players sharing the district’s MVP award, Frankston coach Robert Loper and Troup coach Jody Sory shared the Coach of the Year honors as well.
The Indians placed two players on the district’s first team, with senior Tye Griffin and sophomore Ozzie Buckner earning the honors.
On the second team, seniors Larry Thompson and Gage Hart earned spots, with Cole Shoemaker and Kendrick Rogers both earning honorable mention nods.
