Over the weekend, Cayuga and Elkhart both placed well in their respective tournaments.
Cayuga was able to come out on top and place first in the Slocum Tournament.

The Grapeland Sandies and Oakwood Panthers are the last two teams left in the Dogwood Circle in the basketball playoffs, and both teams will be in action tonight in the Regional Quarterfinals.
H.S. Soccer: Palestine boys and girls changed to Saturday
The boys and girls soccer teams at Palestine have changed their games to Saturday at 1 p.m. and 2:45 p.m.
Both teams were originally scheduled to play tonight, but weather concerns postponed the games.
H.S. Football: Palestine, Elkhart have big days on National Signing Day
Palestine and Elkhart held signings for five individuals on Tuesday.
Palestine’s Jarrell Owens (Oklahoma State), Ben Luckett and Brian Thlang (both University of Louisiana-Monroe) and Sheldon Watson (Henderson State) signed their National Letters of Intent to play football at the next level.
