Scholarship applications are coming in to my office on a weekly basis, and the students are receiving them. Parents: If you have questions are want to know more about any scholarships, please come by my office.

The FAFSA web worksheets are in, and all seniors need to complete the FAFSA before they will be considered for any type of financial assistance at any college. This form is very important!

TAKS TESTING is coming…..Students in grades 7-11 will be taking the TAKS TEST April 17-20.

Everyone needs to get a good night’s rest and be prepared.

• Drag Races — Mrs. Thompson's class went to Baytown to the Drag Races on March 30. The U.S. Army sponsored the event which was called the Yes Program. U.S. Army driver Tony "The Sarge" Schumacher talked to the students about teamwork and commitment. He also told them about the 4,000 different jobs the U.S. military offers graduating high school students.

Given the tremendous troop shortages due to deployments in Iraq and elsewhere, the Army hopes this event will ring even louder than the roar of his engines in the teenager's ears.
