Louise Johnson Thompson

PALESTINE Graveside services for Louise Johnson Thompson, 75, of Tyler, and formerly of Palestine, were at 1 p.m. today at Holly Springs Cemetery near Montalba with the Rev. Lloyd Holt officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory, Palestine.

Mrs. Thompson died Sunday at Greenbrier Nursing and Rehab Center in Tyler.

She was born March 11, 1933 and lived all her life in Montalba until the past six years when she moved to Tyler. Her parents were Marshall and Gladys Evans Johnson.

Mrs. Thompson attended the Baptist church at Greenbrier in Tyler for the past six years.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by three daughters, Marsha Pettigrew of Tyler, Sheri Richardson of Longview and Darla Holt of Athens; brother, Joe Carrol Seckler of Elkhart; four grandchildren, Steve Smith III, Teri Smith, Kelly Watson and Erica Edwards; three great-grandchildren, Cameron, Victoria and Blake Szabo.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
