Charlotte Jarrard

Charlotte Jarrard, born on Nov. 19, 1935 in Palestine, Texas, passed away on Feb. 2, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Mattie Collier Jarrard; sisters, Marguerite Russell, Eloise Gee, Lorene Sowell, and Loretta Henderson. She is survived by her daughter Toni Ivory Stone and husband James W. Stone of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; granddaughter, Kristin Cates of Belen, New Mexico; brothers, Fred A. Jarrard Jr. of Palestine, Texas, Robert L. Jarrard of The Woodlands, Texas; and sisters, Molly Ficken of Austin, Texas, Lois Fuiten of Palestine, Texas, Iva Lene Goodman of Wimberly Texas, Linny Gurganus of Tyler, Texas; and many loved nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law from 3 to 5 p.m.
