— Memorial services for Leslie Dewayne Edwards, 72, of Grapeland will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Family of Faith Church in Elkhart with Dr. Betty Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Davis Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home Chapel, Grapeland.
Mr. Edwards died Wednesday at his residence.
He was born Sept. 16, 1936 in Tucson, Ariz. to Leslie and Oberia Saunders Edwards. He was a mechanic and a rancher.
Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Bonnie Edwards, in 1998.
He is survived by his sons, Wade Edwards and wife Robyn, Russ Edwards and wife Janet, Mark Edwards and wife Sue, and Leslie Edwards Jr.; a sister, Peggy Wright; brothers, William Edwards and wife Marjorie, and James Edwards and wife Maurine; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
