Ardre Dell Williams

Services for Ardre Dell Williams, 66, Milwaukee, Wis., formerly of Texas, were held recently in Wisconsin at the Northwest Funeral Chapel. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mr. Williams died Feb. 26, 2008, in Milwaukee, Wis.
He was born Dec. 28, 1941, in Palestine, Texas, to Oren and Dorothy Williams and graduated from A.M. Story High School in 1960. Before moving to Wisconsin, he worked in Tyler for Tyler Pipe for approximately three years. After moving to Wisconsin as a young adult, he worked and later retired from Schlitz Brewery after 13 years. After retiring from Schlitz, he worked at GE for four years.
After retirement, Ardre became an entrepreneur as a property owner and manager for over 40 years. An avid outdoorsman, he appreciated the world and the earth in which he lived. Traveling, fishing and hunting were some of his adored pastimes.
Survivors include his wife, Anne Hegwood-Williams, Wisconsin; children, Andre Williams, Roxanne Williams, and John Williams, all of Wisconsin; parents, Oren and Dorothy Williams, Palestine; brothers, Charles Williams, Tyler, Harold Williams, Augusta, Ga., Oren Williams Jr., Columbia, S.C., Paul Williams, Dallas; sisters, Shirley Brown, Tyler, Elaine Collins, Houston, Debbie Owens, Dallas, LaNetia Madison, Palestine, Sandra Owens, Tyler; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, along with many other much loved family members and dear friends.
