Linda Dunnam Lee of Slocum went to be with the Father on March 9, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on June 12, 1949 to Harry and Bonnie Dunnam. Linda’s passion was in the kitchen. She loved to cook and would always make enough food to feed all of her family, friends, and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Dunnam, stepmother Martha Dunnam and granddaughter, Kirsten Faith Stampley. She is survived by her father, Harry Dunnam of Palestine; daughters, Leah (Wallace) Decco and husband Robert of Hallsville; Ky’Anne (Pepper) Thomas and husband Lance of Elkhart; Keltner (Kelly) Lee of Elkhart; her “son her sun” Koren Lee and wife Dannielle of Palestine; sister, Sharon Duerer and husband Bert of Elkhart; stepbrothers, Mike and Dianne Jones of Center and Freddie and Maggie Jones of Houston; nephew, Wayne Stewart and wife Christina of Augusta; and eight grandchildren, Sierra Wallace and Justin Decco, Trey, Ky, Wyett and Kassidy Thomas, Amber Corley and Korbyn Lee.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Guiceland Cemetery, with Milton Herod officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home Palestine.
Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home Palestine.
Linda was greatly loved and will be equally missed. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The American Cancer Society or any charity of your choice in Linda’s name.
