Linnie Webb

Linnie Webb, 92, passed from this life on Friday, March 7, 2008 at Cartmell Home for the Aged. Linnie was born June 5, 1915 to Fred and Olga Evans in Hallettsville, Texas.

Linnie and her husband Robert made their home in Palestine, Texas since 1958.

Mrs. Webb was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church of Palestine.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Webb, her parents, brothers: Travis Evans, Willard Evans, Junnie Evans and Billy Evans; and sisters: Katherine Evans and Jean McCoy.

Mrs. Webb is survived by son, Joe Webb and wife Joyce of Palestine; two grandsons, Steve Webb and wife Tami of Palestine and Gregg Webb of Palestine; granddaughter, Rhonda Naismith and husband Ricky of Palestine; five great-grandchildren, Clint Naismith, Kaylee Webb, Kelsee Webb, Camile Douthit, and Carmen Koym; two great-great grandchildren; brothers, Raymond Evans of Palestine and Jack Evans of Houston; sister, Elizabeth Holland of Schulenburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Monday at the Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. Fred Neal and Chaplain Kenn Somerville officiating. Pallbearers will be Steve Webb, Greg Webb, Ricky Naismith, Clint Naismith, Doug Evans and Mike Evans.

Burial will follow at Pilgrim Cemetery in Elkhart under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
