Services for Emma Catherine Walters, 87, of Grapeland, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church of Grapeland with the Rev. Bill Denham officiating. Burial will be in Sparkman-Hillcrest Mausoleum in Dallas at 3 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home Chapel Grapeland.
Mrs. Walters died Sunday at East Texas Medical Center Tyler.
She was born Aug. 26, 1920 in San Antonio, to Clyde Lee and Callie Hill Walters. She was a school teacher with Highland Park Independent Schools.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of Grapeland.
