Charlie Preston “C. P.” Dickerson

Funeral services for Charlie Preston “C. P.” Dickerson, 84, of Frankston will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Frankston with Don Canter officiating. Burial will be at Poynor Cemetery.

Mr. Dickerson passed away Wednesday in Frankston.

He was born Aug. 9, 1924 in Poynor to Charlie Farris Dickerson and Bessie Elizabeth Kitchens Dickerson. 

Mr. Dickerson was a member of Frankston Church of Christ and was a retired brick mason and rancher. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Fayrene Dickerson; and daughter, Sherry Ann Dickerson.

Mr. Dickerson is survived by a son, Robert P. Dickerson and wife Diana Lynn of Frankston; daughters, Alana M. Moore and husband Jimmy of Frankston and Deborah Renee’ Edmonson and husband Gary of Frankston; brothers, Eugene Dickerson of Frankston and Jimmy Lewis Dickerson of Poynor; sister, Lucille Taylor of Frankston; five grandchildren, Dustin R. Dickerson, Aimee Lea Johnson, Misty Kay Dickerson, Ashlie Patterson and Wade E. Dickerson; seven great-grandchildren, Brianna, Cody, Alexa, Emma, Jonah, Noah and Claire.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Autry Funeral Home, Frankston.
