Mildred “Billie” Ramsey

Graveside services for Mildred “Billie” Ramsey, 82, of Palestine will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Roselawn Park with Robley Soileau officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, Palestine.

Mrs. Ramsey died Thursday at her residence.

She was born January 8, 1926 in Jacksonville, Texas to Ernie and Annie Mae Smith Griggs. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Ramsey was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Clarence E. Ramsey in 1999; two sisters, Pauline Richards and Virginia Garcia; and two brothers, Harvey Griggs and Raymond Griggs.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Louise Griggs of Lubbock; and numerous nieces and nephews.
