Mildred “Billie” Ramsey

— Graveside services for Mildred “Billie” Ramsey, 82, of Palestine will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Roselawn Park with Robley Soileau officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, Palestine.
Mrs. Ramsey died Thursday at her residence.
She was born January 8, 1926 in Jacksonville, Texas to Ernie and Annie Mae Smith Griggs. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Ramsey was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Clarence E. Ramsey in 1999; two sisters, Pauline Richards and Virginia Garcia; and two brothers, Harvey Griggs and Raymond Griggs.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Louise Griggs of Lubbock; and numerous nieces and nephews.
