Mable Hickman

Services for Mable Hickman, 92, of Palestine, will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Prairie Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Buddy Lairson officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Hill Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hickman died Friday in Palestine Health Care.

She was born Oct. 5, 1916 in Delia, to James and Werdna Burke Moran.

Mrs. Hickman was a retired LVN and a member of Daughters of the American Revolution. She was of the Church of Christ faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, R.E. Hickman; and one son, Robert Hickman.

Mrs. Hickman is survived by three daughters, JoAnn Rea and husband Donald, Nancy Armstrong and husband Gerald and Barbara Spearman and husband Gerry; three sons, James Blankenship and wife Judy, Randall Hickman and wife Patricia and D.R. Hickman; 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
