Eddie Manning

— Services for Eddie Manning, 55, of Palestine, will be at 11 a.m. today at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mark Norman officiating. Burial will follow at Land of Memory Cemetery.
Mr. Manning died Thursday in Palestine.
Eddie was born July 18, 1952, to J.E. “Jake” and Louise Manning.
Mr. Manning served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1971-78. He was active in Dale Teubner little league. He also was an active member of the Westwood Athletic Booster Club.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1992; and brother, Jimmy Joe Manning in 2007.
Mr. Manning is survived by her mother, Louise Manning of Madisonville; wife, Linda Manning of Palestine; daughter, Angela Davidage and husband John of Springfield, Ill.; sons, Eddie Manning and wife Courtney of Eglin AFB, Fla. and Billy Manning and wife Brittney of Holloman AFB, N.M.; sisters, Sue Morris of Kilgore and Donna Davis of Madisonville; grandchildren, Jacob Manning, Garrett Davidage, Clayton Davidage, Dalaney Manning, Preston Manning and Emma Manning; several nieces and nephews; and aunt, Jo Beth Kay.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Westwood Athletic Booster Club.
