Darrell Dewayne Tawater

— Services for Darrell Dewayne Tawater, 41, of Arlington and formerly of Whitton, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Eubanks Funeral Home in Canton with the Revs. James Terry and Bill Vickery officiating. Burial will follow at Haven of Memories Cemetery in Canton.
Mr. Tawater passed away Saturday evening at Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington.
He was born April 8, 1966, in Forth Worth to G.W. “Dub” and Elsie Cochran Tawater.
Mr. Tawater graduated from Canton High School in 1985 and worked as a heavy equipment operator in Arlington. He attended First Assembly of God Church.
He loved his family, gardening, the outdoors and animals.
Mr. Tawater preceded in death by his father, G.W. “Dub” Tawater on Feb. 9, 2003.
He is survived by his mom, Elsie Tawater of Whitton; brother, Terry Tawater and wife Angie of Palestine; sister, Virginia Kemp of Springtown; children, John Luke Tawater, April Marie Tawater and Melanie L. Tawater, all of Shreveport; nephews, Cody Tawater, Andrew Kemp and Alan Kemp; nieces, Kayla Tawater and Alesha White; and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Lawrence Downey, Gary Lisman, Andrew Kemp, Jeremy White, Tony Hale and David Fretwell.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Eubanks Funeral Home of Canton.
