— Services for Bonnie Lee Townsend, 71, of Gladewater, and formerly of Palestine, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Singleton officiating. Burial will be in Holly Springs Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
Mrs. Townsend died Saturday at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler.
She was born March 15, 1937 in Colmesneil to Rawleigh and Viola Hamilton Berryhill.
Mrs. Townsend was a Baptist. She was retired from Gladewater Independent School District.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Townsend is survived by her husband, Harvey Townsend of Gladewater; daughter, Christine Ousset of San Jose, Calif.; three sons, Van Townsend and Robert Townsend, both of Gladewater, and Ray Townsend of Kilgore; two sisters, Thelma Pearl Gonzales of Elkhart and Velma Jean Bruchmiller of Frankston; three brothers, Buck Berryhill of Pasadena, Wayne Berryhill of Elkhart and Kenneth Berryhill of Palestine; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
