— Ronnie Joe Smith, 54, passed away in Dallas on March 24.
Born Sept. 5, 1953 in Corsicana, Ronnie was a 1971 graduate of Westwood High School. He went on to serve his country in the U.S. Navy. Ronnie loved his family, especially his brother, Donnie, who he took special care of. He was preceded in death by his son, Micah; his father, Billy Joe Smith; and his mother, Marlene Wells Smith.
Ronnie is survived by his brother, Donnie Ray Smith; two uncles; one aunt; and numerous other family and friends.
Graveside services were held at 2:30 p.m. today at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, Lane B in Dallas, under the direction of Moore Funeral Home of Arlington.
