Mary “Bunga” Mobley

Graveside services for Mary “Bunga” Mobley, 88, of Palestine will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Mays Cemetery with Pastor David R. Bergman officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, Palestine.

Mrs. Mobley died Friday at Cartmell Home for Aged. She was born Feb. 20, 1921 in Soper, Okla. to Sam Houston Stalcup and Bertha Yeager Stalcup. She was a homemaker and a member of the Westside Assembly of God Church.

Mrs. Mobley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, O’Neal Childs Mobley; three sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Gruetzner and husband Bob of Elkhart, and sons, Jim Mobley and wife Natalia of Hacienda Heights, Calif., and Raymond Mobley of Ector, Tx. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, three nieces and three nephews.
