Zelma Knott

Zelma Knott went to be with her Lord on May 7th, she was 98. Born on Sept. 12, 1909 to Will and Callie Bell Montgomery, she was preceded in death by her husband S.B. Knott of 59 years in 1984; her mother and father, two brothers and a sister.

She lived in Elkhart her entire life and was a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church of Elkhart and a 50+ member of the Eastern Star Chapter 395 Palestine in Texas.

She is survived by one daughter, Patsy Coleman of Elkhart; one granddaughter of Elkhart, Kay Young; one grandson, Guinn Sowell and wife Kathy and son Tucker of Arlington.

Graveside services will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Elkhart at 10:30 a.m. Saturday with Bro. Bill Gernenz pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 690, Elkhart, Texas 75839 or Palestine Eastern Star, Chapter 395, P.O. Box 938, Palestine, Texas 75802-0939.
