Jean Lee McGlaughn Lenderman Branum, 77, of Tennessee Colony, Texas, predeceased by her very loved husband Billy Wayne Branum in 1993, brother Mike McGlaughn and daughter Karen Parks in 1990. Jean was proudly in the nursing profession for many years. Jean was a Baptist and always kept a special place in her heart for Lakeland Baptist Church in Lewisville, even after her move to East Texas in 1993. Known to family as Mimi, she is survived by son Jimmy Wayne Branum and wife Connie of Tennessee Colony and son-in-law Leslie Parks of Lewisville; sister-in-law Pat McGlaughn; grandchildren, Jason Branum of Tyler, Jennifer Keen and husband Shawn of Gainesville, Shane Parks and wife Jennifer of Lewisville, Thomas Thurston and wife Jennifer of Overton, Katy Thurston and Lo Argote of Tyler and Cody Branum of Tennessee Colony. Great-grandchildren are Jackson, Bailey, Aedyn, Toby, Dusty, Austin, Ethan, Kiya and Riggin. Also dear to her heart, she will be missed by her best friend Betty Edge of Florida, and Bob and Dee-Dee.
Services will be at Dalton and Sons Funeral Home in Lewisville at 2 p.m. Thursday. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday. Final resting place will be in Restland Cemetery in Dallas. Services will be performed by the Rev. John Wisener. A special thank you for Hospice of Tyler for all your caring and TLC.
