Paul C. Scheppler

— Services for Paul C. Scheppler, 81, of Montalba, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of the Cooper Funeral Home of Athens. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Scheppler died Saturday evening in Tyler.
Mr. Scheppler was born July 25, 1926 in Grand Prairie to his parents, Ernest and Arra Clark Scheppler.
He attended schools in Grand Prairie and served in the United States Army during World War II. He married Louise Harris on March 12, 1949. He was a rancher his entire life and moved to Anderson County in 1970. He enjoyed the outdoors and working.
Mr. Scheppler was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Marguerite Malcolm.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Scheppler of Bradford; children, Paula Finley of Athens, Sue Pyeatt of Bradford, Bud and Beverly Scheppler of Bradford; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive condolences from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Cooper Funeral Home.
