Francis Parker Oswald

Francis Parker Oswald, 58, of LaBelle, Fla., passed away June 20, 2009. He was born Nov. 22, 1950 in Waco, Texas, the son of the late Francis Clay and Betty Jane (Shafer) Oswald.

Parker graduated from Palestine High School in 1969 and then from Texas A&M University with a degree in Agriculture Economics in 1973. He was a chemical salesman for Gowan Com.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Sue (Burnett) Oswald of LaBelle; two daughters, Melissa Howell and husband Brett of Naples, Fla. and Jennifer Oswald of LaBelle; two grandchildren, Ryleigh and Gaige Howell of Naples.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 26, at Carlson Memorial United Methodist Church in LaBelle with the Rev. Peggy Benson officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Akin-Davis Funeral Home, LaBelle.
